, the lower these get the clothes we would get to the dewpoint... 40's in fairfield. 40's in daly city but look at 45 degrees in daly city. 43 degrees inf daly city which is aimpacting the fog with the 43 reading of the dewpoint... we will see sunny skies tomorrow by 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. clearing. with a rapid clearing expected. less fog on the sunday and the same for monday. taking a look at the satellite and radar clear skies for the bay area. eyehole some high clouds but those are gone. we will see some chilly temperatures, overnight as i mentioned, 30's for the inland valleys. -- i can expect to see some high clouds. and fog perhaps just a patchy. 30's through napa, the peninsula and for the afternoon temperatures, low 60s for the south bay. 60s in cupertino, 60s in san jose and also for the inland valleys. 62 in concord, livermore, 61 in alameda. upper 50s and 60s along the coast. and for too much low 60s for the north bay. as we take a look at our extended forecast no rainfall expected. however, a chance of showers returns. >> coming up later in this broadcast with alicia... merr

hours. >> it has been a chilly start and mid 30's and santa rosa. 45 degrees currently in daly city. as we had at the the new hour was the loss 60's and the north bay. we're still dealing with a lot of fifties. it is very similar to yesterday. for those of you who are heading out in the evening it will be chilly mainly within the 40's and '50's. >> the 7 day around the bay shows the summit conditions for the rest of the weekend and into your next work week. we have a chance of showers by wednesday. >> gas prices are finally down an average of 30¢ a around the bay. take a look at the numbers. here in san francisco, a gallon of regular gas is $3.72 a day. that is down from $4.50 a gallon last month. gas is even cheaper in the san jose area at $3.59 a gallon. last of a gallon their cost drivers $3.88. in oakland, and gas is $3.61 a gallon. that is down from last month's price of $3.90. >> the rain has stopped, but problems persist. especially with storm damages in the santa cruz mountains. combine hill road is open again now. but only to one lane of traffic. the slide that washed out

they have been through this twice now. they married in 2004 when the city and down i have to san francisco began issuing marriage licenses. but after they exchanged their vows they were notified their marriage had been voided. in 2008 they didn't larry for fear it would be revoked. they were right. six months later prop 8 passed. so now they wait again. this time with hope. >> today is a great day because we can see the potential for a really good outcome, but there is also the possibility of something different happening. so, we have to continue to temper our hopes and dreams a little longer. >> reporter: the supreme court will likely hear the arguments in march and have a decision by the end of june. there are nine justices. it is entirely possible they have nine differ opinions. one thing is for sure, this is an historic moment. juliette goodrich, cbs 5. >>> not only will the supreme court hear the prop 8 case but also a challenge to the national defense of marriage act. >> they've got to solve this as a national level because it's just too much administrative confusion right now. who g
